Is Adams off the hook? Not so fast. There are multiple avenues for Adams to be prosecuted -- especially if elected officials and prosecutors show some courage.
I would love to see Alvin Bragg take the lead. Someone has to because Eric Adams has to be held accountable. And the fact is he is now a puppet of the Orange Felon, so he would not be looking out for the needs of the citizens of New York City and he would have to start going after the Orange Felon perceived enemies in the state of New York like Alvin Bragg or the Judge involved in his case or go after AG James and Adams will have to do it because the Orange Felon kept him out of jail.
The question is, who will be the one to show that courage? So far the judges we had thought were strong enough have disappointed us. Perhaps their families have been threatened, which would scare anyone, but allowing themselves to be frightened only works if they let them. The judicial system is the ONLY pathway out of this death trap.
If Hochul removed Adams from office, DOJ would no longer have its quid pro quo and seemingly would no longer wish to dismiss the case. A fourth scenario?
Hello, Mr Lawler, you certainly bring up an interesting idea. It had not occurred to me, but I wonder if you may be right. It is always helpful when others come up with a different viewpoint or idea, especially in these times.
Hochul needs to act soon. I'm wondering if she's worried that Trump will take revenge on her if she rains on his parade. It'd sure be nice if someone high profile like her would demonstrate some vertebrae and do the right thing. Most recently we found out that a Republican congressperson voted for RFK Jr, then stated his support for vaccines. It's this sort of spinelessness that's walking US to the cliff, while he's preserving his own hide, his job, his retirement, his free medical care. I'm appalled at the cowardice among our elected representatives.
Hello, Tristan, I don't understand why Governor Hochul doesn't just relieve Adams of his mayoral duty. His case is obvious moral turpitude, and he should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Gov Hochul, if she pursues this course of action, would be a heroine, but, more importantly, she would be giving Trump the middle finger, as she eliminates his possibility of a quid pro quo with Adams still in office. I hope she does this because all Americans need to see this whether you are a trumper or not!

This is a question about Musk that I hope you can answer
Hasn’t he done enough now that he could be considered a traitor To the USA and the Constitution ?
If not, how might he be charged and tried?
Doesn’t the 14th amendment have provisions for getting traitors convicted?
Why is the governor not redoing Adams?

Could a petition for recall be started?
