Episode 6 - Immunity and the Court, explained
Why the immunity decision could still hold peril for Trump, and a post-mortem on perhaps the worst Supreme Court term ever, with Dahlia Lithwick.
All hail King Donald, first of his name, protector of white supremacists, attacker of the Capitol, sycophant to the Kremlin, and apparently immune from all prosecution for anything his own handpicked judges declare to be “official acts” of the presidency.
In the latest episode of the podcast, I break down the immunity decision — and how there still may be a silver lining for justice and democracy. And we have a special extended post-mortem of what may be the worst Supreme Court term ever in American history, with legal commentator and SCOTUS expert extraordinaire Dahlia Lithwick, host of the podcast Amicus.
As always, follow the podcast to make sure you get the latest episodes as soon as they drop (Wednesdays at 3am ET / midnight PT).
It already seems like we can't do anything to the Supreme Court! we have a man sitting on the bench who has a wife that was involved in and questioned about January 6th! His own wife! I believe there is a specific rule, #112 against this. So why is Thomas still ruling on Jan6th cases? He should be disbarred! They all took oaths to uphold the constitution... Why aren't they held to account for their actions??
Yours is one of the very best podcasts about law and government. I never miss it.
