Episode 8 - Vance, Cannon, and the shooting
We cover a very busy news week with a look at the real issues around JD Vance, Judge Cannon's terrible dismissal decision, and the takeaways from Saturday's shooting
Episode 8 of the podcast is here — and once again it’s somehow made it to #4 on the charts on Apple (!!!), for which I undoubtedly have all of you to thank!
This week I do multiple deep dives given all the big news stories. Was JD Vance selected because of his ties to far-right billionaires, or because of his ultra-extremist views? (Spoiler alert: it’s both.) What are the real takeaways from the shooting in Pennsylvania on Saturday, and what really happened with Judge Aileen Cannon’s absolute mess of a decision to dismiss the classified records case?
As always, if you like the podcast, follow the podcast — that way it automatically downloads to your devices as soon as it drops each week.
Plus I hope you can give the show a rating, as that helps out a lot.
And coming up next, I’m working on a multi-part deep dive into Project 2025, both here on the Substack as well as on the show. More soon!
The entire RNC convention is a travesty. Mike Johnson telling them they are a party of “law and order” is a joke. They are the most anti law crowd ever seen at a political event. They are only trying to fool themselves, the rest of us see them for what they really are, a cult of personality for the biggest con artist to ever sit in the Oval Office.
Cannon wants a seat on the Supreme Court so bad. And the shooting is still fishy. Trump was fortunate not to be hit seriously by the bullet. Last but not least Trump 's pick for a running mate. Good luck maybe you'll be treated better than the last guy. Who Vance doesn't believe almost died Jan 6th.
