Do you remember this case? https://newrepublic.com/article/173987/mysterious-case-fake-gay-marriage-website-real-straight-man-supreme-court

The US Supreme Court took this case and those brining the case created a fake plaintiff so to speak, there was no real injury and no standing yet the Supreme Court took the case anyway. This is the real danger with a rogue Supreme Court that takes cases on a shadow docket even the fundamental standard of “standing.”

Excellent, excellent article. I will not give in to fear. They are trying to manipulate us into giving up. Don’t do it! They will fail and it won’t be long when it’s apparent they are impotent and unqualified to do anything. We need to hang in there. As John said earlier in his comment, support pro-democracy groups. They’re already filing lawsuits!

I keep coming back to the oath of office. Since he didn't uphold it last time, with no consequences, why would he uphold it this time? Isn't writing an executive order that is "blatantly unconstitutional" violating his oath? Are there really no consequences for illegally firing the Inspectors General? He is supposed to be enforcing the laws of the land, not breaking them. Would these be considered the "misdemeanors" mentioned in the impeachment clause?

Or does everything he does regarding his core powers get a pass because of the immunity his Supremes gave him?

In my work as an activist for immigrants, the most effective work we have done involves informing them of their rights (KYR) and working with Immigrant attys. I worked with pro bono attorneys in NYC (NYLAG and Bronx Defenders) to get educated myself and then

work with the Bergen County Sheriff to improve conditions in the detention centers and streamline the legal process. LEGAL SUPPORT

GREATLY IMPROVES THEIR CHANCES OF NOT BEING DEPORTED.

I am now posting on my substack: KYR from the ACLU and NJAIJ (New Jersey Alliance for Immigrant Justice), Red Cards and info on how to get them, and any other info on how to help I have access to. If any legitimate immigrant attorneys, especially government and pro bono, are in this fight please DM me or let us know. The county detention centers here (NJ) have been closed for immigrants. Currently in NJ, there is only one detention center and it is a FEDERAL one in Elizabeth. There is a support group for detained immigrants called FIRST FRIENDS OF

NY/NJ. Visit their website

because they need volunteers. They are not a legal group. Please feel free to share this info and visit my Substack.

As a fellow New Jerseyan, I am grateful for your intervention on the part of innocent immigrants in our state. I have some friends and acquaintances who are very upset about some of the EOs, and I’ve been telling them that if they get upset, they are letting the felon win.

I also know of some immigrants who are very frightened because of the deportations. Please let me know how to obtain some red cards. I think they would help these people know what they can do to be safe.

Please go to my Substack, Linda Blatnik,.

Scroll down the Activity column and there is a red card email posted. Scroll all the way thru, because there are KYR emails and others in between other substacks I have saved

just because I liked them.:) I will be so happy if these help our immigrants.

Thanks for the information concerning the lawsuits being readied for when they become necessary. I’m willing to stand and fight off attacks on people who are being abused by this criminal administration. I’m just an old woman, but my brain still works.

this is on my mind constantly - you express it perfectly and I will continue to message out to our members in Congress:

"We must be loud and direct, telling the stories of the people being hurt by these evil actions, with as much emotional resonance as possible. " Concrete examples can win hearts and minds. As AOC puts it, our folks in Congress must become "brawlers" for us.

great post!

Outstanding advice. This has boosted my confidence which has been so very low this past week. We cannot let our guard down but must call them out on everything they say and do.

Thankfully, those are hallmarks of Tiny Little Man President and should be abundant and easy to find.
