And his record of delay, delay, delay will still be playing. But everything needs to be attempted. The more the better.

Flood the zone. As he is doing against all of us.

that is true - and two can play that game - we can learn from his playbook - such as flooding the zone (CK's comment)/stealing the spotlight, and also delay delay delay - can't go on indefinitely but we have good legal experts as well (and they are grounded in reasoned arguments rather than fantasy) - oh, and also being loud and obnoxious!

I sure hope there are some teeth in that “strongly worded letter” from the American Bar Association pertaining to following Court orders. Would appreciate it if Bondi, Vance, the rest of the maga attorneys would be disbarred.

Wouldn't it be grand if all former presidents sued him for destroying the Office? Or maybe we can get behind Jack Smith to find something. He's a man I respect!

Doesn't the immunity ruling mean that if he testifying in criminal cases against someone else that he can't take the 5th? For example, a state case against, I dunno, Steve Bannon.

Can Vance be impeached and disbarred? We don’t know- just asking the question.

So all his court costs will then be paid for by the money he's loots from the treasury.

Very good points. Thanks for bringing them to our attention. But if, as other commenters have said, he won't pay any attention to the courts, what is the procedure then? Who is going to arrest him for that? Or do anything?

What if he just refuses to listen to the courts?

Contact your friends in purple or red states and urge them to reach out to their Senators. Some GOP Senators might be swayed if enough people speak out.

RFK Jr’s confirmation hearing to lead the Federal health agencies is coming soon. It’s not just his anti-vax stance, but he has no science background. During his hearing, he showed that he didn’t even have a basic understanding of the CDC, FDA, Medicare, or Medicaid. It was embarrassing.

Call your Senators, even Democrats! We cannot be sure that our Democratic Senators will vote against these reckless nominees. Some elected Democrats are caving already. You would be shocked if you looked at the list of “Yes” votes for many who have been confirmed. N.J. Senator Cory Booker voted to confirm Scott Bessent to lead Treasury. Bessent promptly gave Elon Musk permission to access Treasury records and payment systems. Thanks, Cory!

Google your Senators’ names to find their phone numbers. Their DC office voice mail boxes may be full, so call their local office. You probably won’t reach a human. When you leave a message, tell them you want a response, and give your phone number or email address. I’ve heard that emailing Congresspeople thru their websites is pointless. (For one thing, you’ll have to choose a category, and “Cabinet Nominees” is not among them.)

Make a separate phone call each time you contact your Congresspeople. Each constituent opinion is noted individually and tallied. Our Senators want to be re-elected, so your opinion matters.

Soon you’ll be calling to speak against Kash Patel, who would be terrifying as head of the FBI.

BTW, Democracy Forward - https://democracyforward.org/ - is largely responsible for the Trump Administration’s having rescinded the federal spending freeze. Other groups needing our support are Public Citizen - https://www.citizen.org/ - and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington - https://www.citizensforethics.org/ - These groups are suing the Trump administration virtually every day.

Join me in donating to keep these fearless advocates and lawyers working to save our democracy. Even if you’re too discouraged to read the details, pls. donate if you can afford to.

PLEASE RE-STACK THIS!

You are describing Civil Suits - what is the penalty? How would a guilty verdict remove the Felon from office? MAGA certainly has no moral outrage that would cause then to turn their allegiances in a different direction? Congressional lemmings that kiss his boots will not impeach. Your essay seems to be an exercise in futility.

I have sooooooo many ideas/questions when it comes to both behind the scenes and in front scenes that I've asked and asked and only you answered one clearly.

These RULES, reading a lot of the petitions, indictments, motions, decisions, stacks, precedent cases, testimony, and much more I have a mind that wishes it wasn't broken so I could put it to better use.

I did, back long ago, sue a sitting circuit court judge, who had been my attorney prior, and made himself a mint, sweetheart deal, at my non-lawyer expense, for breaching fiduciary duty, that still haunts me to this day. Taught me a lot however with no law degree just frustration at my 20/20 hindsight mistakes.

Roberts knew he was ruling in favor of Trump, long before 7/1/24, yet still decided to grant immunity to a convicted, not yet sentenced, felon on 34 felony counts of cooking the books, to ultimately influence the 2016 elections, by keeping We The People in the dark. Same happened in 2024 by running out the clock and the help of many enablers, with many other factors, and in 2020 as a coup that the SCOTUS also seemed not to mind to advance the Unitary Executive Theory.

All this illegal indicted/convicted criminal activity, behind the man to get criminal immunity, for the first time in our history, in retrospect.

Fine, however, I see holes left open that I can't seem to find out why the SCOTUS should be asked to, at a risk, step in, or something happens as you suggest?

We all could sue him for letting our personal information get into the hands of a man who also is, or was, being investigated for criminal activity, without permission. We have standing. We have jurisdiction (I think) in the entire federal and state courts because standing doesn't need actual damages but the threat of imminent damages. Why is this official act an official act? What law is he interpreting that makes him believe our information is to be spread around like in his Espionage case? This is an easier to grasp one but I have complicated ones too!

I loved Vance's X post about judicial rulings and its implied meaning. That is fodder for Dems but not me.

Keep the ideas coming and I'll keep the questions coming. I am starting to take a wide view of who is serious about helping and who wants to bluster to make money with subscriptions.

We are in dark times but if ever there was a man with weakness it sits in the Oval...VP TRUMP!

"Why is this official act an official act? What law is he interpreting that makes him believe our information is to be spread around like in his Espionage case?"

I would argue that it's not an official act when the behavior goes against the constitution. His job description is to enforce the laws, not to break them. Every time he breaks a law, he is outside of the official acts. How is an executive order that contradicts the constitution an official act? He should be impeached, just for the citizenship one.

Perhaps we should start suing Republican congressmen for not upholding their oaths to defend from domestic enemies (not impeaching him and confirming enablers).

Thank you for replying. Everyone who does makes me think harder! Ok, I see your point but the constitution doesn't speak to personal information, in its text, and that is a problem. Coupled with the immunity ruling which does make your point very easy to manipulate by the, I believe, the Take Care Clause. But, by slashing laws, by defying them is this or is this not legal or constitutional?

The immunity ruling was a gift from corruption headquarters. Corruption is everywhere and was in Trump 1.0 but no P2025/Musk/DODGE/MINIONS, but today it is so blatant it is like Trump looking directly into the sun if you remember that. Which is what is intended.

The lower courts rulings on immunity and Roberts response in his ruling has me reeling.

I think someone should define Musk, and DOGE, and can TRUMP create these positions and departments with no background checks, cutting off current investigations, money, bribe or gratuity for helping Trump by manipulating the voting machines? It is a GD nightmare. Gotta keep the hats on because I think it will be up to the dedication of FEDERAL judges before the SCOTUS is going to compromise Roberts ruling which needs some interpretations and quite frankly I think it also needs Roberts to go for a psych eval. He seems confused!!!
