TFG’s decisions to select people with minimal experience is yet another indication of what a dreadful leader he is.

I appreciate your comment about pointing out the numbers game with the presidents. It really rankles me but I could never put my finger on why.

Now I know why. It’s like King George V. Same vibes.

Thank you I have written to my senators to please stop Trump from making appointments during recess

I’m guilty referring to Trump as ‘45’ because saying just about any iteration of his name disgusts me. I will do my best to change.

Thank you for pointing this out. It is hughly important

Thank-you for pointing this out! That's why I follow you! For these kinds of insights. I can't agree more on your view that "lazy" reporters are simply parroting information without understanding the implications of the content. We've seen this occur over and over in coverage of Trump.

One must ask WHY Trump is trying to ram his administration/cabinet choices in BEFORE inauguration and the official change of government?

It's because he knows hevhas dark plans and these people are total "yes man" folks and he wants them in place NOW so he can take over the government immediately.

He doesn't play by the rules. He's going to be done with checks and balances and wants to declare martial law.

Yes… your first paragraph on WHY and BEFORE the inauguration has also been too of my mind. I’m scouring Substack to find a discussion of this

His strategy does not take into consideration the egos involved. Stupid people with big egos can become a big problem quickly. They don’t, and I mean Do Not have the self control to understand the power and use it judiciously. Et tu Brute?

Of course.. we are in deep trouble

We can all think of much more descriptive ways to refer to him. 😉

The Trump name before it was changed by his grandfather before coming to America to avoid the German draft was Drumpf, or Drumpft. That's what I referred to him since 2016. Drumpf! That's their German name

Joe Biden is still our President. Kamala Harris is still our Vice President.

After TFG takes the oath of office, in January, he can nominate people for positions. But he can't just appoint them. They all have to be approved by Congress. And we can't let him just appoint people, who will never be confirmed, indefinitely. He pulled this crap last time.

Nominated vs appointed is not sloppy language. There is no “should” anymore. There are no guardrails. If a “law” is in the way, it will simply be eliminated.

Appointed means exactly that!!! Congress might have a nomination process for show, but Project 2025 will appoint the people they want.

Trump will be playing golf and strutting around like a king. His job is to keep the focus on himself and away from what’s really happening behind the curtain.

Thank you for doing what you do! It’s really important that people are reminded how everything Trump does or says is coming out of the Project 2025 playbook
