Honing in on these two questions from the report, which has been lost in fires and Heseth hearings almost brings me to tears… what has been going on in the DOJ for the past four years? Unbelievable when two global leaders have now been charged with similar crimes. Damn, Americans are so mouthy and yet, so weak.

Joan Fair, you're exactly right. My heart is broken with all the corruption going on and the enabling of this corruption. It's apparent that nobody cares about integrity now, criminality is just fine with so many voters. 😞💔

The obvious never happened which leads me to believe the Trump supporters have infiltrated deep into our govt and military

That “memo” is more than a Frankenstein Monster. It makes the DOJ a blatant unindicted co-conspirator in anything pertaining to the president. It’s gotten to be like our appendix; a hanger-on, serving no useful purpose except to cause problems.

Correction: should read “memoranda”.

The lack of prosecution of not just Giuliani, but every seditious member of Congress from Mike Johnson on down has infuriated me from day one. But I’m a fan of Sarah Kendzior, whose two best selling books detail the deep corruption in Americansociety. She understands why Merrick Garland did what he did. And Merrick Garland was Jack Smith‘s boss. Someday I hope a new book is written that builds on Sara‘s work. Because this failure to uphold the rule of law is possibly the biggest attack on American democracy since the Civil War… Maybe even bigger than the Civil War

Tristan, it is no surprise to me that Jack Smith resigned. First, there judge on the classified documents case, Cannon, had been a rally attending, rabid supporter of Trump. She also had been reversed and slammed by the appellate court above her as " lacking in judicial knowledge". Second, the pus filled pocket on justice in America, the SCOTUS, so corrupted by money and bribes, private jet trips and luxurious vacations, not reported as gifts or income, came down on the side of corruption instead of the rule of law. Our SCOTUS has six members bought and paid for, ready to do the bidding of the billionaire class. Oddly enough, I remember that in high school government class and college political science classes being told that Justices checked their politics at the door of the Court House. Well, no more. We have six toadies appointed by two presidens who lost the popular vote. As Michael Moore has pointed out, those six, having been appointed by presidents who lost the popular vote, do NOT represent what the majority of Americans believe is justice. After the ridiculous SCOTUS ruling about presidential immunity, it is no surprise that Jack Smith resigned. If we feel cheated at not obtaining justice, imagine how Jack Smith feels. He knows everything that crooked sonofabitch did, selling classified documents to our enemies and setting up several nefarious schemes, including an insurrection, an attempted coup de t'at to overthrow the results of a fair and free election. I imagine Jack Smith is just plain nauseous.

Someone should release or leak Vol. 2 of the Smith report IMMEDIATELY, before Trump takes over. Do it now, for the love of our democracy!

Once Democrats regain control of the Presidency in 2028 and assuming Trump is still alive, can the DOJ serve the J6 indictment against Trump and prosecute the case?

Tristan, is it possible that someone behind the scenes has threatened Jack Smith and his family? Why else would he resign?

If he hadn't resigned, Trump would have had him fired as soon as he took office. They want to prosecute him.

The talk of the rule of law is for common people with no money. Money thwarted justice so Drumpf and cohorts escaped justice. It’s disappointing.

Tristan, Thank you for highlighting these two points in your article. Yes, corporate media has failed us over and over again. They preferred to put their heads in the sand as they were shilling for the convicted felon.

Also, in reference to DOJ internal memoranda, and as a lay person, I’ve shared the same thoughts with others. You are spot on here. These memoranda are not law. I often said if Mueller had moved forward with an indictment, I’m sure this guy would have appealed the charges, and ultimately the Supreme Court would have had to rule on these memoranda. Another lost opportunity.

I believe Jack Smith did the best that he could have done. Based on his prior experience at the DOJ and as the Chief Prosecutor at The Hague prosecuting war crimes, he fought hard for justice for our country. Did AG Garland told him to stand down?🇺🇸🗽

I doubt Garland told Smith to stand down. I think you are right about Smith doing the best he could. I even say that about Garland. Everyone online seems to think everything would have been different if only *they* had been in charge. What nonsense.

What never seems to be acknowledged is that MG was never going to take down DT and intentionally ran out the clock. Why people thought he would be some sort of savior is baffling. He's a Federalist Society member and at the end of the day he protects his colleagues and their interests. He's part of the same club of corrupted untouchable elites who are quite satisfied with t⁶he status quo. When you have time may I suggest that you read the works of Sarah Kendzior. The View From Flyover Country, Hiding In Plain Sight & They Knew. She's forecasted this outcome many many years ago by using what has been public information for decades. Americans have been lead to believe that "no one is above the law" when the reality is the "laws" are rewritten in favour of protecting the powerful who remain uninhibited by it.

Tristan Snell, there is an impersonation account of you. It’s called “The Tristan Snell Show”.

Just discovered it 1/17 a.m., because it subscribed to me, which is ridiculous. I will report and block right now. Suggest you have someone follow up for you and check for other such accounts.
