He’s a complete moron for listening to the incompetent Peter Navarro who actually made up the “resource,” that he quoted from his own delusional brain! He made the entire thing up and trump being so dumb that he believes this crap about tariffs!

"Ron Vara". Well, it is creative despite its being devious and dishonest.

Great analysis here, it's going to get really rough very soon I think....I'm concerned that the orange puke will start a war .....if he's backed into a corner, he'll resort to drastic actions to change the narrative.....so much stress 😞

this makes me somewhat hopeful. i have thought so many times, "why are the Republicans killing their own country?" maybe now they have lost enough money to see that power with only pennies in their pockets isn't worth it? and that this power can be chopped away at ANY TIME. trump and his whole cabinet have already committed actual treason, so maybe that is something they don't want to be included in later.

By the time that any Republicans revolt, their credibility with their constituents should be zero or less. We deserve a wholesale replacement of Republican senators and congressmen for what they allowed to take place.

Sorry, but overriding a Trump veto is wishful thinking. There is a somewhat better chance in court since the statute Trump invoked should trigger the “major questions” doctrine and fail that test, if the court is consistent and honest.

There is conspiracy in the air. Trump dumped stock before the tariffs were defined. Pam Bondi continues to debase herself. She is complicit in Signalgate as a Signal user and too corrupt to recuse herself. Until we have the House, we cannot impeach. We will have job growth because of the CHIPS Act and the Infrastructure bill. But the jobs shipped overseas are not coming home. https://hotbuttons.substack.com/p/jobs-wont-come-back?r=3m1bs

Sounds great. A potential glimmer of hope. We'll see if any of these bozos actually have the analytical skill to work this out or the brain to listen to someone else who has.

Thanks for putting numbers to a potential revolt of enough R's to push back on POT (Party of Trump) tariff debacle. So this isn't just a momentary tift with Trump, the only opposition party -Democrats - need to provide a safe, welcome New Big Tent space for a bipartisan bolt from POT. Yes compromise will be needed, but it is clear at least to me that in the majority two-party system we are accustomed to, you are either POT or NOT. NOT doesn't sound welcoming, maybe the new Big Tent is called Constitutional Democracy.

That Republicans have an epiphany is what I’ve been hoping for because I believe it’s the strongest chance - coupled with massive demonstrations by the people - to prevent the totalitarian government the administration is moving towards.

Here's a scary thought: One of the TV pundits this morning remarked how the financial world is hinged to ONE MAN: Trump. Various world economies are waiting with baited breath.

Yes, and one man in the House also controls what gets voted on. It's a ridiculous, dangerous system and needs to be changed.

I think he knows what he’s doing. He and his cronies want a recession because then everything is on sale. They can buy cheap stocks, real estate, companies which have gone bankrupt and land from farmers. He said it at least once before in an interview on TV that he likes it when the economy crashes because that creates lots of opportunities for him.

I was wondering how long it would take for the GOP to start to panic when their own bank accounts were taking major hits. It's all the about the money, and self-preservation. When it hits them they will change their tune and understand Trump will continue to undercut them as long as they let him. Soon he will have no need for them and their cushy retirement, insurance and cash cows will evaporate and they will be in the same position as the rest of us.

This is getting very interesting with that lawsuit. These guys and the GOP will be complicit in all Trump’s criminality and corruption until they start feeling it themselves financially. I really hope Trump has shot himself in the foot with this one.

Tristan..thanks for all this information. I especially appreciate the information on how tariffs are to be & how long they’re to be in effect. I didn’t know that & don’t see any emergency to this country to where Cockwomble would enact them…unless, of course, in his own mind.
