Thanksgiving buffet: all of November's content in one post
Need some extra content while you're traveling, or avoiding relatives -- or looking for content recommendations for the relatives you actually like? Look no further.
So it’s only been three weeks since the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day — and it’s seemed like three months.
Perhaps you took time away from news and politics — or perhaps you may find yourself with some extra time over this holiday weekend to catch up on reading or podcasts that have piled up. Either way, I’ve got you.
Here on the Substack, it’s now completely clear that our prosecutors completely failed us, and that Trump is already trying to circumvent Congress and is nominating a potential attorney general that he already may have bought off once before — and meanwhile I have a lot of thoughts for how we will fight back and then some, but it’s also clear that when it comes to the media, political, and legal structures we need to build, we’re going to have to build it all ourselves.
Plus, we’ve now inaugurated a weekly mailbag Q&A, with two editions and counting — and if you want to have your questions considered for the next mailbag next week, reply here with a comment!
Then, on the podcast, we did a postgame analysis and call to arms after the election — plus more on the fights ahead (with Maya Wiley), on Trump’s cabinet chaos (with Anthony Scaramucci), and on fighting corruption and predatory misconduct, plus how we fight back for America’s families (with Rep. Pat Ryan).
So I hope you’ll pile up your plate, have your fill, come back for seconds, all those eating metaphors — and you may even have to break out your Thanksgiving pants.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone — and see you next week for the beginning of some even bigger announcements and launches!
I just want to know why our democratic representatives dont react like the Maori reps in parliament in New Zealand!!!!
They take a stand and make sure their voices are heard!!! This is a dream for democracy!
Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for all that you do to keep us informed.
